You will work on our highly scalable systems focusing on the BigData processing pipeline, ingesting billions of daily events. Make sure our systems and infrastructures scale and perform at optimal levels.
We believe in innovation, so our vision is to build a tier-1 cloud operation that is fully automated and cloud agnostic. Our architecture is K8S based, so we need to have a strong execution of environment management, scalability, resiliency, redundancy and security. As a leader your role will be to envision the architecture, and also be a major contributor building it.
Responsibilities.
- Build our Infrastructure and BigData DevOps roadmap.
- Research and implement new/best DevOps practices and processes including automation, CI/CD and service discovery;
- Technically lead a team of DevOps engineer experts running our cloud infrastructure;
- Implement tools and procedures in support of Production environments,
- Deployment and CI/CD infrastructure;
- Work with developers, SRE and automation engineers to architect solutions that increase efficiency, scale and reliability across SQream architecture;
- Maintain multiple, consistent environments (Development, Test, Production QA and Production);
- Enforce security principles and practices as needed.
Requirements.
- 3+ years’ experience as DevOps Engineer/ Tech Lead
- Strong expertise with AWS and/or GCP. Experience with other cloud technologies is a plus
- Experience working with Cloud Production environments
- Strong experience with containerized environments and microservices (K8S / ECS)
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools & implementations
- Experience with logging and monitoring technologies and services
- Strong experience with IaC (Infrastructure as a Code) tools such as Terraform
- Experience with programming and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- A state of mind and approach to automate away from manual efforts
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability
- A passion for technology, learning, and finding the best solution
- Advantage – Experience with NoSQL DBs (Redis / MongoDB)
- Advantage – Experience with ML / AI technologies – an advantage
